  • AUSD Adventures is a district-wide program that provides academic and educational enrichment opportunities at all thirteen Alhambra Unified School District elementary schools. Programs are creatively designed to promote ACTIVE, COLLABORATIVE, and MEANINGFUL engagement that SUPPORTS MASTERY and EXPANDS HORIZONS. Activities are created based on the interests of the students to create engaging opportunities for positive growth, both academically and emotionally.

We specialize in homework assistance and academic enrichment that is embedded with life-skill lessons for school-aged children. We value the uniqueness of every child and believe in facilitating a positive learning environment that encourages growth in each individual and celebrates every progress along the way. Through every interaction, we hope to instill a love of learning that SPARKs their own ability and confidence towards their full potential.

The mission of Options for Learning's Enrichment Program is fostering students to develop leadership skills to become life-long learners who acknowledge diversity by providing a safe environment where learning is meaningful through enriching and engaging activities that supports their instructional day.
 
  • After-school enrichment program for grades TK-8;
  • Runs Monday through Friday after school to 6 p.m. on all school days;
  • Before-school care, non-school-day programs, and summer care options available;
  • Licensed, on-campus program, located in a unique and separate portable building;
  • Experienced and enthusiastic staff.
 
Locations
Serving the following Alhambra Unified School District schools: Baldwin, Brightwood, Emery Park, Granada, Marguerita, Monterey Highlands, Northrup, Ramona, and Repetto.
 
  • Designated homework time, assistance, and Google Classroom access;
  • Physical fitness activities with nutrition education;
  • Sports, teamwork, and leadership;
  • Delicious and healthy snacks;
  • Focus on emotional wellness and healthy choices;
  • Creating and innovating with science experiments and exploration;
  • Computers, coding, and digital media technology;
  • Planning, designing, and building beyond engineering fundamentals;
  • Building self-esteem and creativity through the performing and visual arts;
  • Leadership activities, community service, and character development.
